I won’t lie to you, this is very hard to watch. However, if you’re wearing leather shoes or carrying leather purses and accessories, if you own anything made of fur, then you MUST watch this new video. It’s your responsibility to witness the suffering of innocent non-human animals for your fashion taste. Here’s the message from PETA:
You’ve seen “Meet Your Meat,” the video that exposes cruelty on factory farms. You’ve seen “Testing…1, 2, 3,” the video that shows the suffering of animals used in cruel experiments. Now PETA is releasing “Whose Skin Are You In”—the video that shows the pain and suffering that goes into every piece of animal skin that is used for clothing.
The following are just a few comments from our YouTube page that demonstrate the impact of this video:
- WoW! Powerful video. I never wear fur or leather, and I’m now reminded why.
- I’ve always worn leather thinking it’s an acceptable byproduct. But this has made me rethink …
simply heart wrenching …- Wow! This is an eye opener. I’m a 13 year old girl so I’ve never wore fur and I never will! This movie is amazing and has helped me realize what’s going on in our world.
- after i Watched this vid i finally went vegan after three years of being a vegetarian
- If only everyone in the world saw this.
Watch this video. Send it to everyone you know.
Thank you for helping animals who are killed for their skin.

I was taken with the video, too, and posted it on my blog and on Vegan Soapbox. It’s really well done.
How graphic is it? I’m not sure I can stomach it….
