It seems the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, has no plans to suspend Vick who was indicted yesterday by a federal grand jury on felony dog fighting charges. HSUS has a handy form for you to urge Goodell to suspend Vick immediately. You can edit it letter to express your own feelings, too.
The HSUS has taken custody of the 52 pit bulls found on Vick’s property. There are photos of the dogs and they’re in terrible condition. It appears their wounds were never treated by Vick and his filthy band of cronies (it’s only a matter of time before one of them turns on Vick for a plea deal). The HSUS also needs cash to care for these dogs, so please give if you can spare a few dollars for these abused creatures.
